A Beautiful Poem About Palestinian People By Haleema

The only stars they see are the sparks of a bomb. The only waves they hear are the travelling of the missiles before it explodes.
The only scent they smell is the smoke from their demolished houses.
The only touch they feel is the touch of the bullets penetrating their skin.
The only flavour they taste is the flavour of rubble that resulted from yet another explosion.
The only joy they feel is when they are protecting Al-Aqsa before being killed.
The only comfort they experience is the comfort of the grave.
This is what our dear brothers and sisters in Palestine are going through before they are being killed.
It’s heart breaking, heart wrenching.

Oh Palestine!
For every drop of blood that you shed, you are getting rewarded.
Your Jannah is ready for you!
You are stronger than us, you have courage.

To the parents of every baby and every child that is getting killed, Ebrahim (AS) is awaiting their sweet presence in Jannah.
To our mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers, you are fortunate enough to pass away as a martyr. ﺂللَّــہ has given you a high rank!
Your suffering will definitely be rewarded by the Almighty.
Keep your faith strong.
The greatest weapon we can give you is prayer.
For prayer (dua) is more powerful than any man-made missile.
We will be your voice!
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Do not despair, ﺂللَّــہ is there!

Free Aafia Campaign

I fully support the Free Aafia Campaign.

If anyone can attend this demonstration, just know that you shall be rewarded for seeking the freedom for this unjustly imprisoned woman and many women like her.

This is a broadcast I received:

Free Aafia Campaign:

Please be informed that International Free Aafia Day will take on the 29th March . Please encourage the school girls and Female Staff in your organisation/company to wear a purple scarf on the 29th and 30th March(global March/Picket) in support of Aafia’s plight.

Respected Brothers and Sisters

We hereby inform you that an organising committee will be holding a picket demonstration at the Consulate of the United of States of America. The details surrounding the picket are as follows:

 The aim and objective of the picket is to commemorate the 9th anniversary of the abduction of Aafia Siddiqui on 29th March and to highlight the plight of Dr Aafia Siddiqui who is currently imprisoned in the United States of America and sentenced unjustly to a prison term of 86 years.

 The picket will be a peaceful and based purely on humanitarian grounds.

  The picket action will take place in Sandton at the offices of the US Consulate on Friday 30th March 2012 from 14h00 to 15h30.

 The organisers endeavour that the picket will be held in accordance with South African Legislation governing public protests, and will ensure conformance to such legislation.

 As part of the picket action, the organisers will be handing over a memorandum to a senior United States Consular official at around 15h15.

 A further request is made to all organisations / schools / institutions and individuals to support the initiative and where possible to attend the picket in Sandton.

 To coincide with the picket action, a request from the organising committee is to dedicate 30th March as “Aafia Day”. This should include requesting learners / ladies to identify with the cause by wearing a purple scarf on the day.

We thank you for your assistance in respect of the above. Kindly forward this mail to your constituents and people on your mailing list.

Niqaab Ban March 20/05/2011

Salaam and hi everyone

By now I’m sure everyone knows about the ban of the niqaab in France. Niqaab is the Islamic face veil many Muslim women wear.

I must make it clear as a Muslim woman that the option to wear the Niqaab is purely our choice and it is not something that anyone forces us to do.

A march is being held on the 20th March 2011.

The protest at the FRENCH embassy in Pretoria at 10 am against the ban of niqaab in FRANCE.
